Below we have collected the most common misconceptions about textile systems.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-white-color has-text-color is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Misconception 1 - Air technology can only be created with metal.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With more than 10 years of design and installation experience behind us, we can safely say that this statement is not true. The metal can be replaced and the air can be blown in just as efficiently with textile ducting. Perfect air distribution is one of the biggest advantages of textile air duct systems, as the thousands of tiny perforations allow air to flow out of the duct evenly and without draughts. The traditional spiral-wound anemostatic system can do this, but it is much more complicated and expensive.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Misconception 2 - Textile ducting costs the same as metal.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It makes a difference how much it costs, so it is important to clarify that the savings by designing, building and installing a textile duct system can be between 40-70% depending on the insulation, compared to a metal system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The savings are on both the material and installation side. The installation of textile ducts takes a fraction of the time of a metal duct system. This is a huge advantage even when installation time is limited.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Misconception 3 - Textile duct systems cannot be used in sports facilities.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is often concern that the textile ducting at high altitude may not be able to bring the air down to the residence zone. This depends on how perforated holes are selected for the textile duct. If we want to, we can easily bring the air down from above.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the air duct is not damaged by sports equipment (e.g. a ball) in a gym, just like hitting a hard inflated rubber ball on the beach. There's no damage in that either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is very suitable for wet and humid environments such as swimming pools. Firstly, it is very easy to control the treated air thanks to the arbitrary positioning of the perforations, and secondly, as our system is not made of metal and our support structure is aluminium, it does not corrode. Air can be delivered from heights of up to 10m with the right sizing and optimum perforation placement. However, in all our work we have never come across a textile duct system that has worn out with proper periodic maintenance.  That's why we offer a 10-year warranty. Maintenance is simpler, faster, cheaper and more efficient to clean than metal ductwork. While textiles can be made new again with a simple wash, cleaning metal systems is very expensive and complicated, which is why they are not cleaned very often.
