From 29 March to 2 April 2023, the 41st CONSTRUMA International Construction Trade Fair was held at the Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre, where EXANDAIR was also present as an exhibitor. The event was also the summit of the domestic construction industry, where we presented our EXANDAIR textile air duct systems within the framework of the 11th HUNGAROTHERM building services trade fair.
The main topics of this year's biennial HUNGAROTHERM were heating, ventilation and renewable energies, so we were very pleased to be able to present our Hungarian innovation to so many interested visitors.
With the focus of the professional programmes and the exhibition on the challenges of the future construction industry, including energy efficiency and sustainability, EXANDAIR's textile air ducts were of great interest.

We support domestic companies as domestic manufacturers
The first three days of the event were a professional meeting where designers, contractors, architects and mechanical engineers, among others, could learn about the latest technologies. On the last two days of the exhibition, HUNGEXPO was also open to the general public, and we were delighted to be able to answer many of their questions.
At both the professional and public days, we were able to demonstrate that we are the only Hungarian manufacturer in our area to design and produce textile air duct systems that can be quickly and easily manufactured, using our own software developed in collaboration with BME. Thanks to this, our textile duct branches and systems can meet the most specific individual requirements.

The most frequently asked questions at CONSTRUMA
As the question of whether EXANDAIR's textile ducting systems can be used in extreme locations was raised repeatedly at the exhibition, we explained that our innovations are perfectly suited for use in everything from industrial halls - even for cooling and heating, in high warehouses up to 12 metres high - to spas, sports grounds and other event venues.
- In our textile air duct systems there are no rusting elements or parts, and the air permeable material designed for this purpose allows the system to dry itself, so there is no need to worry about the textile air duct breaking down in swimming pools and other bathing areas.
- The same is true in sports facilities, where EXANDAIR textile ducts are not at risk of being dented or damaged by a sports equipment, just as a metal system can be damaged by a heavy impact.
- We also recommend our products for event halls, event centres and even gyms, as our textile air duct systems - in addition to fulfilling their function - can also be considered as a special interior design element, which can be a very important aspect for example in a fitness room during workouts. Furthermore, our textile air ducts can also be branded with a logo on request.
At CONSTRUMA, however, we were asked not only about the efficiency of our textile air duct systems, but also about the different materials.

What is EXANDAIR textile ducting made of?
As it is often necessary to provide adequate airflow in extreme conditions, it was legitimate to ask whether EXANDAIR products could meet the different requirements of different industries. The most extreme cases are in clean rooms and food processing buildings, where we naturally also use the right materials for our textile air ducts.
In cleanrooms, we use antistatic material, and in the food industry, antibacterial textiles are clearly the best practice. As every building, room or space has a different function, we send our customers the certification of our materials so they can choose the one that best suits them.

Professional visitors at the EXANDAIR stand
We have had the pleasure of talking to many designers, and we have assured them that we can support their work in a number of areas during the design phase. If we know the air volume required, and we have the temperature and height data and the duct trajectory, we can even design the ductwork for the room, free of charge, with flow images to assist them.
Also during the discussions with the contractors, the main focus was on how we could help them to carry out a project. Since we can deliver the supporting structure for our textile duct systems within a few days of ordering, the duct can be installed in parallel with the duct production, saving them a lot of time and effort.
